In most major cities, homeless men litter the streets. Many people pass by them without a second glance or thought. However, these men are not nameless voids of life. They are people, just like us, who met unfortunate ends. And while some may indulge in less than desirable acts, many of these people are honest workers unable to find refuge in this foul economy.

“Without a Name: The Story of a Homeless Man” is a short story that tells the tale of one such man. Alone on the streets after being laid off after his boss begins a relationship with his wife, the man is left without the refuge of home, food, or family. This story details his struggle to be accepted in society, and his redemption which appears in the form of a young girl named Alicia.
