If you would like to submit your work for consideration, please read this first.

ireadiwrite Publishing is a unique publishing company.  Any book that we accept is made available as a digital edition and distributed to almost all digital bookstores.  Like any publisher, we review submissions, design cover art, edit, typeset/format and handle distribution.  Since digital publishing has much lower overhead costs, we pass along those savings to both the writer (in the form of higher royalties) and the reader (in the form of lower prices). In select cases, we may choose (at our discretion) to put a book into print editions as well.

We review all works that are submitted and are selective. We currently publish only literary & genre fiction and selected non-fiction. We are not currently seeking any more poetry or short stories. Please submit only full length works over 25,000 words.


Submissions

The Work: Only complete and edited manuscripts are seriously considered.  Submit your work in rich text format (rtf). Your file should include the title, table of contents (if necessary) and a short synopsis.  Submitting cover art is not necessary, but if you have it, please send it in high resolution jpeg format.

The Bio: Please include a picture and a short personal biography or history of your writing career. If you have your own web page or blog, please include the link. If you’d like to remain anonymous, then please be sure to indicate a pseudonym and there’s no need to include a picture.

We review all submissions regularly, and will respond to your submission as fast as we can. If you are selected, you will be forwarded a contract for you to review. We are a small publisher, so we do not currently provide advances. For any work that is accepted for publication, there are no costs or fees to the writer.


Ownership and Copyright

You retain all rights to your work. You are simply giving us the right to publish and distribute it. When we publish the book, the book is copyrighted under your name and has your contact email on the legal page. If you subsequently sell your work with exclusive rights, it is your responsibility to inform us and we will remove it from publication.
